A group of unidentified miscreants allegedly entered a house, looted gold ornaments, cash, and valuables, and escaped, leaving the family traumatized. Incident Late at Night
According to local sources, the robbery occurred in the village of Bhaliapadar under the Boudh district during late night hours when the family members of Satyabrata Mishra were inside their home. Taking advantage of the darkness and silence, a gang of armed robbers reportedly forced their way into the house. The criminals allegedly threatened the family members and controlled the situation before anyone could seek help.
The miscreants were reportedly carrying handmade bombs & weapons, which created fear among the victims and prevented resistance. The robbers allegedly tied up the family members and began searching the house thoroughly for valuables. During the incident, they looted gold jewelry, cash, and other important household items worth 35 lakh.
The entire robbery was carried out swiftly and in a planned manner. Before neighbors could realize what had happened, the criminals managed to flee from the spot. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, but the victims were left mentally shaken and frightened.
